Chet Purtilar

Born in Cincinnati Chet moved to New York at the age of 19 to pursue the world of art and culture that is New York City. He currently lives and works in Brooklyn, New York. His work started at a very young age through skateboarding and graffiti culture. Using this as a starting point his work is moving forward with new found influences and adventures. Always looking forward to finding new things but never forgetting the past. Recognizing the importance of having fun and the connection between his own reality and the reality of life. Most of his current work is a compendium of the overly stimulated world he lives while trying to make sense of it all.
